A community service organization is looking for a Consultant Social Worker in Nuneaton to lead a multi-agency team in providing assessments and support for families in need. The role requires a professional Social Work qualification and at least four years of experience, particularly in children's social work. The successful candidate will supervise staff, make evidence-based decisions, and mentor both students and colleagues. About the Team:
We are a Family Help Team and work with a range of families including those in need of Family Help Assessment, Targeted Early Support, Children in Need, those who are on the Edge of Care or Child Protection and Court, and children in care until they have a plan of permanency outside of their parents care or with a plan of reunification home. Our Family Help Team is multi-agency with Family Support Worker, Family Practitioners, Social Workers, Systemic Consultants, PCSO's and soon NHS Nurse - all working together to meet the holistic needs to our families to reduce risk and keep families together.
We work with families under the principles of Restorative Practice to identify plans which meet each individual family's needs and is used with every family, to help them identify positive change in order to develop a plan that works for them. Bedworth and Nuneaton Family Help Team arerecruiting for the role ofConsultantSocialWorkerwithin the Duty & Certification Team. You will need to have a minimum of 4 years post qualification and have experience of supervising students or mentoring colleagues.

Up to £53,769 per annum (Includes a £3,500 pro-rated annual market supplement which is subject to pension, tax and NI deductions Ts&Cs apply).
