Overview

Pertemps Medical are seeking to appoint a substantive Consultant Psychiatrist to support our client based in the North West of England. This is a full time post primarily based at home with some travel required to cover 3 hubs across the North West and Yorkshire.

Essential Requirements

• Must hold GMC Licence to Practice with Specialist Registration
• Right to work in the UK and minimum 6 months UK experience at the same grade or similar
• Section 12 Approval
• Approved Clinician Status
• MRCPsych

Role and Responsibilities

To lead multi-disciplinary review monthly of young people (aged 16-30 years old) in residential care; acting as Responsible Clinician in accordance with MHA (amended 2007) and utilising Care Programme Approach. This includes medication management, risk assessment and review, MHA and Mental capacity assessments, and maintaining an overview of progress across all domains.
