An exciting opportunity has arisen for a consultant post within the Manchester University Foundation Trust (MFT) Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) Unit, based at Wythenshawe Hospital.
The successful applicant will join an established team of health care professionals servicing a population of over 5 million. The service provides general ILD clinics as well as subspecialist Rheumatology ILD, Vasculitis ILD, Familial ILD, Sarcoidosis clinics and offers an outreach nursing service to North Manchester and Central Manchester Hospitals. The ILD team has a strong research tradition and is currently running a number of commercial and non-commercial studies. The team is focused on improving patient pathways and early review and diagnosis in ILD.
