Are you a Consultant Cellular Pathologist looking for a role that goes beyond routine diagnostic reporting?

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading clinical diagnostics and precision-medicine organisation at the forefront of biomarker development, companion diagnostics, and innovative research.

The Role

You will become part of a specialised team of Cellular Pathologists supporting the development, validation and delivery of personalised medicine biomarker assays. This role combines high-level histopathological expertise with scientific collaboration, clinical research and the opportunity to contribute to next‑generation diagnostic solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Conduct detailed histopathological and cytopathological evaluations across a wide range of tissue types.
  • Prepare high‑quality pathology reports and present findings to internal scientific teams and external partners.
  • Provide expert input on the suitability of clinical samples and support continuous quality improvement.
  • Contribute to the development and validation of novel biomarker assays that directly support drug discovery and clinical trials.
  • Maintain professional autonomy while ensuring compliance with GCP, accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay engaged with emerging advancements in cellular pathology and integrate them into active projects.
  • Mentor colleagues and support the expansion of diagnostic capabilities in line with strategic growth.
  • Participate in client meetings and scientific discussions when required.
What We’re Looking For
  • Medical degree with full GMC registration and licence to practise.
  • Specialist training in Histopathology with CCT (or equivalent).
  • FRCPath (or equivalent).
  • Strong, broad experience in diagnostic histopathology.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.
