Overview

Your new company: Our client is a leading-diversified construction business with interests in traditional building, civils and groundworks and logistics. With a large fleet of plant and equipment, they have a requirement for an in-house trainer to ensure their team of skilled operatives are fully trained and accredited for various types of machinery.

Your new role

As Plant Trainer, you will administer a range of training to your team. Focusing on core groundworks equipment such as excavators, dumpers, teleporters etc, you will train and develop their team to ensure this equipment is used efficiently and safely. From upskilling new members of staff to ensuring existing staff member training is kept up to date, you will be a pivotal part of keeping our clients\' business running efficiently. You will also be responsible for managing the administration and accreditation process of the training you deliver. Our client works for some of the largest construction companies in the country and this requires a comprehensive approach to plant use and safety.

What you\'ll need to succeed

The ideal candidate is from a training background who is accredited to deliver NPORS or CPCS training on a range of traditional construction plant and equipment. You will be a good communicator able to deliver this training in a professional and empathetic manner. You will also be well-organised as you will generally have a busy week with a range of training to be delivered across multiple locations.
