The Role

As a Construction Operations Manager / Senior Contracts Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the operation of joinery installation projects from start to finish.
  • Ensuring adherence to the company's Health & Safety Policy across all sites.
  • Implementing processes to improve project delivery outcomes.
  • Leading a team, monitoring training, and fostering a positive, cooperative environment.
  • Managing resources, including labour, materials, and equipment, to meet project deadlines and budgets.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  • Ensuring quality control and commercial decision-making at the project level.
  • Managing project budgets, aiming for cost reduction without compromising quality.
  • Using relevant software to communicate and report on live and completed projects.
The Person
  • A degree in Construction / Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in Project Management and Contract Management (JCT/NEC/Bespoke).
  • Strong multitasking skills, excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong IT skills, with experience in project management software.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • A current, valid UK driving licence.
