This is an opportunity to join one of the UK's market-leading Construction teams at a top-tier law firm.
Role Profile:
- You will work as part of a high-ranking team, based in Edinburgh.
- The team advises on all aspects of Construction Law across various industry sectors, including contentious and non-contentious matters. The work covers buildings, civil and process plant engineering, energy, infrastructure, and utilities in both private and public sectors.
- The team also provides project support and advice to the wider Real Estate, Banking, and Projects teams.
- The firm seeks to hire a Construction lawyer to join their Edinburgh-based team to work on a variety of construction and environmental matters.

- Candidates should have a solid background in construction law (contentious and/or non-contentious), including experience with building work, preferably with process plant, energy, utility, and infrastructure projects.
Candidate Requirements:
- Approximately 2+ PQE in non-contentious construction law, ideally gained within a comparable environment and at an appropriate level.
- Experience drafting a variety of construction documents and familiarity with JCT contracts (or other standard forms such as NEC3).
- Ability to contribute to the group's general maintenance, including training, precedents, and know-how.
- Ability to actively support complex transactions, liaising and coordinating with other relevant disciplines as needed.
