Job description

Position: Conformal Coating Operative

Salary: £25,500 - £28,000

Location: Luton

Proactive currently have an exciting opportunity for a Conformal Coating Operative to begin work for a leading manufacturing and production business in Luton.

Due to rapid company expansion and an ever growing order book, our client is hoping to recruit at least one additional Conformal Coating Operative to help ensure the quality and accuracy of the factory's function is well maintained throughout this new and excited influx of work.

Role:

• Conformal coating of PCBs ensuring all processes are stringently adhered to and any gaps or suggestions for process improvements are made to your immediate supervisor
• Preparation of solvent based materials in line with manufacturer's instructions
• Ability to accurately identify coating material to ensure correct material used at all times
• Masking and de-masking and cleaning, as needed
• Adherence to work instructions
• Accurate setting of temperature controls on ovens
• Maintenance of accurate production records
• Routine cleaning and maintenance of tools
• Compliance with the company H&S and Quality standards and procedures
• Able to programme conformal coating machines
• Able to mentor others

Experience/Qualifications:

• Previous experience of conformal coating in an electronic manufacturer essential
• Certification to IPC-A-610 desirable
• Able to follow Customer Drawings
• ESD Awareness
• Attention to detail
• Team Player
• Excellent communication skills
