GLL is looking for a Customer Service Advisor at Glass Mill Leisure Centre in Lewisham, London. If you have a passion for people and the ability to deliver first-class customer service, this is your chance to be part of one of the largest leisure groups in the UK.

As a Customer Service Advisor, you'll make a difference to every person who walks through our centres, whether through a warm welcome or by selling memberships to enhance their lifestyle.

Our Customer Service Advisors respond to enquiries, converting them into memberships. You will be often the first point of contact for customers, answering calls, handling transactions, addressing queries, and participating in community outreach projects. Your focus will be on maintaining the highest level of customer service at all times.

What you need:

  • A strong focus on customer service
  • Passion and personality
  • Knowledge of health and safety
  • Great team player
  • Good IT, literacy, numerical, and communication skills
  • Some experience in administration

What you’ll do:

  • Be the first point of contact for customers
  • Answer incoming calls
  • Handle transactions, including setting up direct debits and cash handling
  • Deal with membership enquiries and sell memberships
  • Set up equipment
  • Support your team daily by preparing studios, gyms, or sports halls for activities, and maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the centre
