At mhs homes, our Foyer service provides housing and support for young people aged 16–25 who may have faced challenging circumstances. We’re looking for a Concierge who can be a reassuring presence overnight and at weekends, ensuring safety, security, and a welcoming atmosphere.

What you’ll do
  • Be the first point of contact for residents during nights and weekends.
  • Monitor the building and maintain a safe environment.
  • Support young people with empathy and patience, helping to de‑escalate situations when needed.
  • Encourage positive engagement by helping to run activities and create a sense of community.
  • Work closely with our support team to uphold safeguarding standards and respond to incidents appropriately.
What we’re looking for
  • Someone who genuinely cares about young people and wants to make a difference.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Awareness of safeguarding and a commitment to keeping everyone safe.
  • A flexible, proactive approach and willingness to learn.
  • Experience working with young people or in a customer‑facing role is desirable, but not essential.
Weekend Shift Cover
  • Saturdays: 20:00 pm – 08:00 am
  • Sundays: 20:00 pm – 08:00 am
