A reputable educational recruitment agency is looking for a Computing Teacher to join a mixed school in Lambeth. The position is a maternity supply role starting in January 2026, focusing on teaching computing to students from Year 7 to 11. The school offers excellent facilities and has a supportive department. Candidates must have Qualified Teacher Status and relevant experience. This is a temporary position with the potential for permanence.
An excellent opportunity is available for a creative and inspirational computing teacher to teach computing to KS3 to KS4 in a very reputable mixed comprehensive located in Lambeth. The position is due to a resignation and will be offered to the successful candidate on a maternity supply basis to start in January 2026.
The school has over 1,200 students on the roll, with 350 students in the computing department. The school has excellent facilities and the computing faculty can boast interactive whiteboards in each class, purpose‑built ICT suites, and a wealth of resources both on and offline. You will be joining an existing team of 9, including experienced support staff and technicians. The computing team is excellent with ASTs and a highly experienced teacher for you to work with and learn from. Your timetable will consist mainly of teaching computing from year 7‑11. The school prides itself on behaviour and attainment, and in 2022 the OFSTED inspection graded the school as “good” with outstanding features. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
