Overview

Prospero Teaching are currently seeking a Qualified Computer Science Teacher to teach KS3 and KS4. You will be responsible for delivering and planning lessons to GCSE standard. This role is to start ASAP and will potentially run till the end of the academic year. The position is for 3 days a week (Monday - Wednesday).

Location - Coventry | Position - QTS Computer Science | Type of work - KS3/4 GCSE | Start date - ASAP | Likely Duration - Long term, on-going | Position end date - on-going | Contract type - Temporary | Hours - 8:20am-4pm (term time only)

Responsibilities
  • Deliver and plan lessons to GCSE standard for KS3 and KS4.
  • Contribute to a positive learning environment with good communication and behaviour management.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Hold QTS or NQT status.
  • Experience teaching Science to KS3 and KS4 in a school setting (permanent or supply).
  • Up-to-date safeguarding training; if not completed in the last 12 months, you can undertake a free course through Prospero Teaching.
Eligibility and Additional Requirements
  • Right to Work in the UK.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate with online update service or willingness to apply for a new DBS.
  • Provide two professional child-related references.
