A local government authority in Manchester is looking for a Compliance Support Officer. This role involves processing licensing applications and conducting compliance inspections within the housing sector. The Housing Compliance & Enforcement Team is based at Hammerstone Road in Gorton. The team manages housing disrepair in the private rented sector and licensing of Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMOs) and discretionary licensing schemes such as Selective Licensing. Responsibilities include responding to service requests from tenants, conducting compliance inspections, and supporting proactive projects to tackle rogue landlords.
We are seeking a Compliance Support Officer with strong ICT and communication skills. The successful candidate will use a number of systems and will need to communicate effectively to a range of audiences including managers, businesses, solicitors and partners.
Desirable experience with the following systems: SAP, Academy, REASON, Experian, and Flare.
