Qualifications

  • Science Graduate with a biological background or experience working in a pharmaceutical regulated environment.
  • Understanding of GxP regulations and QC testing within a GMP environment.
  • Aseptic technique and tissue culture techniques required.
  • Computer literate in Word, Excel, and MS Office.
  • Proficient pipetting technique.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and aliquot control materials.
  • Order, receive, and prepare Oligos.
  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration of analytical instruments.
  • Conduct routine stock checks and manage laboratory space.
  • Perform cell line maintenance and prepare assay reagents.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Prepare, and aliquot control materials
  • Ordering, receipt and preparation of Oligos
  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration of analytical instruments like the QS6/QS7, Spectramax, and Hamilton robots
  • Routine stock check of Oligos and control materials and booking of laboratory space and instruments
  • Perform cell line maintenance
  • Preparation of assay reagents and buffers when required
  • Work with OXB Engineering team to support equipment maintenance & repairs performed by external contractors
  • Play an active role in performing routine pipette training of scientists
  • Perform RNA & DNA extractions & general assays like pH, Appearance and Osmolality when required and analytical assays to verify Control materials when required
  • Science Graduate with a biological background or experience working within a pharmaceutical regulated environment
  • Understanding of GxP regulations and QC testing within a GMP enviroment
  • Aseptic technique and tissue culture techniques
  • Computer literate (word, excel, MS Office)
