Job summary

A leading Bradford business is seeking a Compliance Manager to uphold the Quality Management System and ensure compliance with regulations and client standards. The role involves leading site audits, championing continuous improvement, and managing allergen validations. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in quality or compliance roles within food manufacturing, strong knowledge of BRCGS and HACCP, and a UK driving license. Qualifications

Overview

A Compliance Manager with a Quality focus is needed at a leading Bradford business who is trusted to deliver solutions for a vast array of clients. As Compliance Manager, you'll play a vital role in maintaining and developing the Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory standards, including BRCGS. You'll lead site audits, drive root cause investigations, and champion continuous improvement across two production sites.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain and develop the QMS in line with BRC and customer requirements
  • Lead the HACCP team and oversee internal audits
  • Investigate customer complaints and internal non-conformances
  • Manage allergen validations and produce quality reports
  • Test and inspect incoming goods, packaging, and finished products
  • Maintain documentation including SOPs, risk assessments, and document control
  • Liaise across departments to embed a culture of quality
  • Prepare for and manage third-party audits
  • Monitor and report on quality KPIs
What You'll Need
  • 2+ years' experience in a quality or compliance role within food manufacturing or a laboratory environment
  • Strong working knowledge of BRCGS Food Safety and HACCP (Level 3 preferred)
  • Experience dealing with UK retailers (advantageous)
  • Confident with audits, complaint handling, and quality reporting
  • Computer literate and comfortable with documentation control
  • A full UK driving licence
