Overview

Compliance Engineer - Lead Product Safety & Regulatory Excellence. A leading global manufacturer is seeking a proactive Compliance Engineer to manage CE/UKCA compliance and documentation across two UK production sites.

This site-based role offers the chance to work in a collaborative, engineering-led environment where compliance plays a key role in innovation and delivery. You\'ll ensure machinery meets current and upcoming regulatory standards while working cross-functionally with design, electrical, and production teams.

Location: Bridlington
Type: Permanent | Full-time | Early finish Fridays
Flexibility: Site-based, with some occasional flexibility

What You\'ll Do
  • Maintain technical files and ensure compliance with CE Marking, UKCA, EN 13849, and Machinery Directives
  • Create and update risk assessments, SRS reports, and safety documentation
  • Align compliance processes across both sites
  • Support internal training and awareness around regulations
  • Liaise with external bodies and prepare for 2027 regulatory changes
What You\'ll Bring
  • Strong understanding of CE/UKCA compliance and machinery safety
  • Mechanical and/or electrical engineering knowledge
  • Skilled in technical documentation and regulatory requirements
  • Hands-on, confident communicator with a collaborative approach
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
Desirable
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, EN 13849, or SRS documentation
  • Background in internal auditing or regulatory engagement
