Band 5 Community Staff Nurse - Hillingdon District Nursing Service. Full time. Newly qualified nurses welcome.

The Hillingdon District Nursing Service are looking for community nurses to visit patients with a nursing need in their own homes. Responsibilities
- Visit patients in their own homes to provide nursing care as part of the District Nursing team.
- Work autonomously in the community with appropriate support from the multidisciplinary team.
- Cover full-time shifts (08:00–16:00, 10:00–18:00 or 08:00–18:00). Weekend work is required, usually 1 in 3.
- Engage in ongoing professional development through CNWL’s preceptorship and training programmes.
- Contribute to high-quality patient-centered care and support the delivery of the NHS 10 Year Plan goals.
Qualifications
- Be an NMC registered nurse.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm, energy and a passion for delivering high-quality nursing care.
- Community experience is not essential, but you should demonstrate understanding of autonomous working in the community with transferable skills.
- Be prepared to deliver care in the community setting and interact with patients and carers appropriately.
