We are looking for an exceptional Community Care Assistant to join the Newcross team in Milford on Sea and be part of a supportive and rewarding environment where your contributions truly matter. Your Role: Supporting Independence, Enriching Lives As a Community Care Worker, you will provide life-enhancing, person-centred care to people within their own homes in Milford on Sea. Your compassion and dedication will help people live safely, with dignity and independence in their own homes.

Responsibilities
  • Personal care and support: Assisting with daily routines to promote comfort and wellbeing
  • Companionship: Offering warmth, kindness and a friendly face
  • Live-in care: Providing round-the-clock care for those who need it most
  • Promoting independence: Encouraging clients to live fulfilled lives with autonomy
  • Medication support: Safe, timely administration of medication
  • Specialist clinical care: Supporting clients with complex needs confidently and competently
  • Palliative and end-of-life care: Providing compassionate care during life\'s most sensitive moments
  • Experience: At least 6 months of paid professional care experience (or personal care experience in the UK)
  • Confidence supporting individuals with limited mobility
Qualifications
  • A valid driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle
  • The right to work in the UK
  • Experience with complex care (preferred but not essential, full training provided)
  • Registration: Applicants in Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland will require the relevant registration (e.g., SSSC, SCW, NISSC). Not applicable in England
  • Ability to understand both verbal and written English to follow care plans and communicate effectively
  • Qualities: Empathy, Integrity, Respect, Teamwork and the ability to deliver exceptional care
