We are looking to recruit a Band 3 Community Auxiliary Nurse to work within the Community Nursing Night Service Team.
The post is for 20 hours per week.
The Community Night team is based at Community Intermediate Care Centre, First Floor - Clatterbridge Road, Clatterbridge, Wirral.
To cover 7 day period, predominantly working evening shifts, however, where service requires to complete Night Shift.
You will be required to work predominantly evening shifts on a flexible rota, including weekends and Bank Holidays; however you may be required to work shifts across the 24 hour period depending on service needs.
Whilst community experience would be an advantage we are keen to recruit those who have relevant transferable skills who are enthusiastic to develop their career in the community setting.
Our Community Nursing Team supports the needs of housebound patients living on the Wirral. We provide valuable care, supporting people to manage their long term conditions, and maximise their independence, which in turn can prevent admission into hospital or enable a quicker discharge if they admitted.
As an aspiring outstanding Trust we have numerous policies and procedures in place which provide standard organisational ways of working, in line with organisational objectives, relevant legislation and requirements. Policies allow for continuity and consistency within the Trust. Employees must abide by and adhere to all Wirral Community NHS Trust's policies, at all times.
The post requires good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to be adaptable, reliable and approachable.
