Job description
Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy and dynamic communications team at Scotland’s largest College.

Edinburgh College helps tens of thousands of students achieve the future they want and your role will be to research and publicise some of the amazing stories that happen on campus each year.

Responsibilities
  • Support all communications activity across the College, including media and stakeholder communications, social media, internal student and staff communications and website support.
  • Promote stories from around the College and assist with the gathering of video and photo content.
  • Research and write press releases to gain high-profile publicity in local, national and international media outlets, enhancing and protecting the college’s reputation.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Ideal candidate is at ease working in a proactive press team and able to balance several different workstreams at the same time.
  • Great team player who is willing and able to help out other members of the marketing and design teams when needed.
  • Willingness to work at any Edinburgh College campus, some evenings, and on-call work as required.
