A leading engineering firm in the UK seeks an enthusiastic Engineer to join their Energy Business, focusing on testing and commissioning electrical automation and control systems. We are looking for an enthusiastic & driven Engineer to join our Energy Business, to test and commission electrical Automation and Control Systems: from minor modifications and additions through to complete new and replacement systems. This role is suitable for existing Commissioning Engineers or Test Engineers with a desire to move into site commissioning activities. The suitable candidate must be able to communicate effectively with the customer, interpret designs (including schedules, drawings etc.), have a good understanding of system engineering design and be prepared to be involved in and lead site visits for the purpose of installation & commissioning work. The suitable candidate would also be required to contribute to the creation and development of test & commissioning documentation. This position would suit someone who has a good grounding in electrical engineering and automation with experience in test/commissioning techniques, who is keen to work on site and is keen to learn and develop new skills as part of an experienced and committed team. This role will be based between our Stone Head Office and Client Sites around the UK.
