Commercial Plumber / Pipe Fitter |Must live in London, Cambridge, Peterborough, or Northampton| Full Time (48 hrs / week, 8 : 00 am – 6 : 00 pm) | £35,000 - £50,000 per annum DOE

Are you the right person for the job?
Essential Requirements
  • Must be based in one of the following areas : London, Cambridge, Peterborough, or Northampton
  • Proven experience in commercial installation
  • Experience servicing commercial and domestic boilers, gas pipework, boosters, and safety shut-off systems
  • Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Understanding of plantroom systems and mechanical equipment
  • Comfortable using job management software (Simpro) – training can be provided
  • Gas Safe registered (or qualified and eligible to register)
  • Enhanced DBS (company will cover if needed)
  • Ideally, 5+ years of commercial installation experience
  • Ability to work as part of an installation team
  • Able to read installation drawings
  • Clean UK driver’s licence
Preferred / Desirable Experience
  • Experience with press fit, pipework threading, and welding (MIG or TIG)
  • Other industry qualifications, such as WRAS, L8, HWSS
  • Experience with hot water, cold water, chilled water, heating, gas, ASHPs, AHUs, etc.
  • Level 2 City & Guilds qualifications
  • CSCS card or equivalent site safety certification
  • Experience with Sage (beneficial)
What will your role look like?
  • Field-based role covering sites across the UK
  • Work on a wide range of commercial and domestic gas systems
  • Installation, maintenance, servicing, and fault-finding across commercial buildings (schools, hospitals, office blocks, plant rooms, and more)
  • Work across other aspects of mechanical engineering, including steam plant and chilled water plant
