MSX have a wide portfolio of propositions and digital services. We are looking for a driven, enthusiastic business developer who will grab the attention of our clients, uncover their challenges and address them with innovative and attractive solutions.

As the Commercial Manager for the UK & Ireland region, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities with our automotive clients. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs and align with our strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals across the UKI region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Engage with automotive and mobility clients to identify their needs and define innovative solutions in collaboration with your operational colleagues.
  • Collaborate with marketing, pre-sales, and customer success teams to ensure seamless client engagement.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline management using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.
  • Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
Working Pattern and Location
  • 40 Hours per week
  • Permanent
  • Monday-Friday
  • Location : Field based ideally in Midlands / South east
  • Travel : Nationally, as required

Qualifications
Essential Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience in Business to Business (B2B) sales, preferably where technology is used as an enabler.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritise effectively.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience of building senior business relationships leading to solution sales
  • Knowledge of the UKI automotive market landscape and business culture.
  • Background in consultative style business development.
