Job description

Overview

Commercial Gas / HVAC Engineer – Watford area and surrounding area with travel to the North London region to service, maintain and repair a range of commercial heating systems, as well as some air conditioning and other associated HVAC plant. Salary: £54,000 per annum (inclusive of standby) plus paid travel time, overtime, call out, 33 days holiday, pension & excellent benefits – including private health care, life insurance. Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Standby / Call Out: 1 in 4.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance across a number of sites.


• You will be the first line in all maintenance throughout your allocated sites.


• Ensuring that all technical and compliance paperwork is completed and up to date.


• Service and repair a range of mechanical equipment, e.g. boilers, fans, pumps, AHU's, FCU's etc.


• Safe working practices in relation to 3 phase and single-phase electrics and applications.


• Carry out surveys and complete reports as required by management.

Qualifications / Experience

• Essential: ACS Gas - COCN, CIGA, CORT, ICPN, CDGA, TPCP1, TPCP1A

Ideal Candidate

• Will have worked in a similar mobile role traveling around the region from home.


• Be able to deal directly with customers and on-site management teams.


• Have the ability to work at heights, work in confined spaces.


• A hands-on, can-do and flexible approach to your work.


• Full Driving License as this is a mobile role.
