This international law firm based in the heart of the London legal district has a fantastic new opportunity to hire a Commercial Finance Manager.

Role

The firm are keen to hire a newly qualified commercially minded accounting specialist to support the firm’s ambitious plans to offer a first class competitive and dynamic accounting strategy for their client base. Reporting into the Head of Finance, the Commercial Finance Manager will be tasked with setting up and growing the commercial accounts team providing commercial, financial and analytical support acting as the business facing member for the Accounting department.

Responsibilities

You will be responsibility for analysing the profitability across all practice and business groups, supporting on budgeting, forecasting, pricing strategy, design and deliver training and support to partners / lawyers on proposals, client pricing and rates and negotiations, sharing best practice learning to tackle any challenges encountered from clients. The Commercial Finance Manager will work closely with the Management Accounting, Pricing and BD teams on identifying and acting on growth opportunities as well as develop individual growth plans and pipeline management with earners across the firm.

Qualifications

Candidates must come from a commercial finance background, including pricing expertise, ideally within a law firm. A CIMA or ACCA qualification / finalist is . Strong Excel and report writing skills using Power BI is a plus.
