Job description

Position Overview:

The role is to support the VPs of designated divisions within our Advanced Solutions business unit in providing adequate analysis and be the central Finance Partner for new projects related to the wider commercial team and finance.

The Person will build and develop relationships with the Top Management team to ensure a strong connection between financial needs and business strategy and will lead European projects with financial scope.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of all financial reporting within the Business Unit (BU).

  • Partner with Group FP&A to ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.

  • Prepare and deliver monthly accounts, forecasts, and financial outlooks.

  • Support the development of Long Term Financial Plan, Annual Budget and strategic initiatives.

  • Manage customer and vendor rebate programs and profitability analysis.

  • Conduct business case modeling for investments and commercial deals.

  • Lead financial negotiations and structure commercial agreements with vendors and customers.

  • Present financial performance to internal stakeholders and external partners.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in business partnering, FP&A, and commercial finance (5-7 years relevant experience)

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA preferred).

  • Strong background in controlling, accounting, and financial planning.

  • Proficient in BI reporting, Excel (including pivot tables), and presentation tools (PowerPoint, Canva).

  • Solid understanding of US and UK GAAP.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Deadline-Oriented, able to work well under pressure, has strong sense of urgency / prioritization.

  • Strong people skills, willing to speak up and be heard by senior management

  • Fluent in English.
