Job description

My client based in Hampshire is seeking the support of a Building Surveyor to focus on both the investment and operational portfolio both of which include offices, depots, industrial lets, community centres etc. The entire portfolio is worth circa £369m.

This role is to ensure the buildings owned by the Council, within both the operational and investment portfolio, are maintained to the highest possible standard required and in line with the requirements of the Councils Asset Management Plan and various service strategies, policies and procedures as well as necessary legislation, regulations and best practice.

It is essential that candidates have experience in undertaking property inspections, identifying defects and preparing schedules of work and the preparation of budget estimates for planned and reactive works. In addition having previously commissioned planned and reactive works, developing schedules of works & raising works orders.

Contract Length : 6 Months.

Rate : Negotiable DOE.

Working Pattern : Hybrid.
