A leading commercial insurance brokerage in the Leeds area seeks an Account Executive. The role involves handling accounts and managing a client portfolio in a supportive environment. Ideal for those ready to step up, this position offers a competitive salary along with flexible working options.
Our client is a long established commercial insurance brokerage based in the Leeds area, fiercely independent and holding chartered status. They provide an excellent working environment which includes the option of flexible office / home working; the office is modern and spacious with plenty of parking.
This is an Interesting dual role, a mixture of account handling on behalf of the Account Directors as well as taking on your own client portfolio, which will include client facing work. This is the ideal role for an experienced commercial broker or account handler who is ready to make the step up into a full account executive position, but wanting the role to evolve gradually rather than jumping into the deep end.
Applicants will be smart and professional with a good all round knowledge of most areas of commercial insurance (ideally studying CII qualifications, which will be fully supported). Some previous client facing experience would be beneficial but is not essential. Also, previous use of Acturis would be preferred (again, not a prerequisite).
You will receive an excellent basic salary + full and comprehensive benefits package. Once up to full Account Executive status you will also receive a car allowance.
