A leading offshore law firm is seeking a Commercial/Chancery Barrister to join their Cayman Islands litigation team. The role offers the chance to work on significant offshore disputes, assist in the development of junior lawyers, and participate in business development. Ideal candidates will have at least 3-6 years of PQE, confident advocacy skills, and the ability to handle complex commercial disputes. A tax-free salary and comprehensive relocation package are included.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Commercial/Chancery Barrister or Advocate to move offshore with one of the leading names in the market. Joining a Cayman Islands litigation team with a long-standing reputation for excellence, you will be involved in some of the largest and most complex disputes in the offshore sector.
Working with an international client base, your practice will encompass a broad range of commercial, financial services, and insolvency disputes, and will include both preparatory and courtroom work. You will be expected to assist in the training and development of more junior colleagues and to play a full part in the firm's business development and client management efforts. It is ideal for an ambitious and career-minded lawyer craving a team environment and a consistent flow of high-calibre work whilst enjoying a lifestyle that is simply unattainable in most onshore financial centres.
A world-class international financial centre, Grand Cayman offers lawyers the opportunity to do high-quality and complex work that compares favourably with that in a leading onshore law firm. Outside of work, the climate lends itself to an outdoors lifestyle whether that be diving, sailing, relaxing on the beach or enjoying a bite to eat at a waterfront restaurant. Life here is good; rarely does anyone regret making the move.
Our team has 25 years’ experience of helping lawyers to make international and offshore moves. If you would like to find out more about this role or chat about an overseas move in general, please get in touch.
