Location: Carluke High School, Carnwath Road, Carluke ML8 4EA

Hours: 42.5 hours per week

Work Pattern: Monday - Friday 7.30am - 4pm and covering school lets Monday - Friday 6pm - 9.30pm and 1 Saturday morning 9am - 12.30pm to be worked every 4 weeks

Hourly Rate:£14.02 - £14.33 hourly rate

We are looking to recruit a Secondary Janitor at Uddingston Grammar School. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation of all documentation relating to the janitorial and cleaning function within the premises.

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring unit grounds are kept in a safe and tidy order, free from dangerous articles ensuring Health and safety of staff and visitors.
  • To monitor the activities of lessee’s and contractors reporting any issues to line manager.
  • To log, monitor and report all damage/faults in relation to the fabric and fixtures.
  • To liaise with external contractors and lessee’s, ensuring all Health and Safety and security procedures are adhered to.
  • To effectively communicate with the Facilities Manager; Head of Establishment/Lessee’s and Team Members to ensure the customer needs are met on a daily basis.
