Overview

This role will be focused on working with community organisations and members of the general public to expand our co-production and public involvement approaches. It will involve supporting services to share best practice across a range of forums both within the CRDC and the YHARC. This will include supporting local involvement and engagement strategies and involvement opportunities and promoting networks through a variety of approaches and channels. Commercial Research Delivery Centre (CRDC) Yorkshire and Humber Applied Research Collaboration (YHARC).

We are looking to appoint someone with confidence, strong organisational and communication skills, who pays close attention to detail. The ideal candidate will work well in a team and independently. They will be based in the Bradford Institute for Health Research and will work on a variety of projects with a focus on advancing community inclusive approaches. The successful candidate will be great at developing, maintaining, and strengthening relationships, to obtain valuable involvement experiences. They will be able to think creatively to solve problems, be able to adapt what they share to match the needs of audiences and communicate findings in a suitable way for all stakeholders. This is a unique opportunity to be part of two major National Institute of Health and Care Research (NIHR) programmes and to advance our ambitions to work with a variety of community groups from the Yorkshire and Humber region. This opportunity will suit a self-motivated and dynamic individual who can work across a broad range of sectors to ensure community voices are embedded in (i) the NIHR Commercial Research Delivery Centre: Bradford and West Yorkshire and (ii) the NIHR Yorkshire and Humber Applied Research Collaboration.
