Job summary

A skilled manufacturing company located in Birmingham is seeking an experienced CNC Turner to program and operate CNC Turning Machines. The ideal candidate should have over 5 years of CNC Programming experience and be proficient with Mazatrol and Siemens systems. This role offers competitive pay of £16-£20 per hour depending on experience, along with early finishes on Fridays.

Overview

CNC Turner - Skilled Machinist

Birmingham

£16-£20ph DOE

Early finish Fridays!!!!

Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30, Friday: 07:30 - 12:30

Responsibilities

• Programming, Setting, and Operating CNC Turning Machines
• Working with Mazatrol, Siemens, and G-Code control systems
• Interpreting and working from detailed engineering drawings
• Producing components to tight tolerances
• Setting tools with a clear understanding of cutting speeds and feeds
• Performing boring, drilling, and threading operations
• Using precision measurement equipment (verniers, bore gauges, micrometers, etc.)
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
