Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is looking for a CNC Operator to join an industry leading precision sheet metal manufacturing organization in Slaithwaite. The role includes operating a CNC Press Brake to meet customer specifications, setting up machines, and performing tooling changes. The CNC Operator will enjoy a competitive hourly rate of £17.29-£18.93 and the benefits of a 4-day work week.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working on CNC machines.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Ability to carry out heavy manual lifting.
• Previous experience within an engineering and manufacturing organisation.

Overview

CNC Operator required for an industry leading precision sheet metal manufacturing organisation, recently bolstered by significant investment. The organisation has over 50 years of experience and is established as a market leader within the sheet metal industry, supplying into a variety of sectors.

Responsibilities

• Operate a CNC Press Brake to produce customer orders on time and to specific customer specifications.
• Set up machines, read from drawings, program, and perform tooling changes.
• Mark up pressed parts and pack them for dispatch.
• Manoeuvre material on and off the press machine using an electric pallet stacker or via manual lifting.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience working on CNC machines.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Ability to carry out heavy manual lifting.
• Previous experience within an engineering and manufacturing organisation.

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday: 14:00-00:00
