Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Operative to join our clients dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and maintaining CNC machines to ensure efficient production of high-quality components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC machines according to technical specifications and production schedules.
  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
  • Program CNC machines and make adjustments to optimise performance.
  • Conduct routine machine inspections and preventive maintenance.
  • Ensure all safety protocols and quality standards are adhered to.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of setups and operations.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a CNC Operative or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of CNC programming and machine operations preferably 5200 Okuma LB225B.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant technical qualification or apprenticeship is preferred.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS

  • There is a requirement to be flexible with regards to shifts and working patterns.

Pay: From £14.50 - £15.66

  • 06:00am - 16:00pm
  • 16:00pm - 02:00am
  • Monday - Thursday
  • 10 hour shift
  • Rotational Shifts
