We are currently recruiting for a skilled CNC Miller to join a precision engineering company based in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a time-served machinist with experience on 3-, 4-, and 5-axis milling machines and a strong background in Heidenhain programming.

Role

You will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating Dugard and Bridgeport CNC milling machines to produce high-precision components for various sectors. This is a day shift role offering a stable and well-organised working environment.

Responsibilities

• Program, set, and operate 3-, 4-, and 5-axis milling machines using Heidenhain controls


• Work from technical drawings to machine parts to exacting tolerances


• Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet required standards


• Optimise machining processes and ensure efficient workflow

Requirements
