Our client is a plant hire company that is looking to recruit an addition to their workshop technician team based out of their yard in Redhill, Surrey.

Responsibilities

The role will be to check in all returned hire equipment (ladder, goods only, chain, personnel hoists), clean it up and conduct routine maintenance and repairs required in preparation for its next hire.

Full training will be provided but a fundamental understanding and ability to work with mechanical and electrical equipment is needed. Ideally with materials handling mechanical / electrical knowledge.

Requirements

• Erecting scaffolding systems
• Working with electrical equipment and understanding wiring diagrams
• Service and install hoists

Working Hours

7.30 am - 5.00 pm (site based)

Salary

Very competitive salary commensurate with experience and abilities (minimum starting salary will be £30,000) with senior engineers earning in excess of £45K+
