A healthcare provider in Ipswich is seeking an experienced professional for operational management of mental health services for children and young people. The role includes managing teams, implementing protocols, and working collaboratively within the community. Candidates must possess relevant qualifications in nursing or social work and have leadership experience in mental health environments. In this role you will be responsible for the operational management of the service to ensure a high-quality service is provided to children and young people (and their families) experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties. You will build relationships with and work across a range of education settings. There is a strong emphasis on co-production in MHSTs and you will help to drive this forward. You will contribute to the review, development and implementation of service wide policies and protocols.
You will be responsible for the management supervision of the team. You will contribute and lead MDT decisions and be responsible for managing the clinical capacity of the team, taking account of balancing direct individual/family work with whole school/college approaches to supporting emotional wellbeing. You will be accessible for staff, service users, families and carers and act as a point of clinical expertise.
