Overview

In your role as a Clinical Service Manager at HC-One you'll value kindness above all. You will oversee and assist every aspect of nursing care and activities within the home. You will be responsible for creating and updating individual care plans for residents as well as maintaining clear, accurate, up-to-date medication records. You will draw on your clinical experience to provide valuable support, guidance and assistance to the team, and you will build strong relationships with key partners within the community to strengthen the HC-One brand and raise the care home's profile. You will ensure adequate staffing is maintained within the home through efficient management of staff rotas and, from time to time, provide cover out of hours as required.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee nursing care and activities within the home and support the team in delivering person-led care planning
  • Create and update individual care plans and maintain accurate medication records
  • Provide coaching, guidance and formal/informal teaching to colleagues and other care professionals
  • Manage staffing rotas to ensure adequate coverage; provide out-of-hours cover as needed
  • Develop strong relationships with community partners to enhance the home’s profile and the HC-One brand
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with a valid PIN
  • Knowledge of National Standards and the NMC Code of Practice
  • Experience with person-led care planning in a care home
  • Willingness to coach, guide and support the team, including delivering teaching programmes
  • Commitment to adhering to the NMC Codes of Conduct and ongoing professional development
  • Compassionate, caring leadership with the ability to motivate and mentor a team
Location, Salary & Benefits

Salary: £25.12 to £26.12 per hour

Location: Mossdale Residence, York
