Overview

Are you HCPC registered with 12 months of post qualification experience of working as a Clinical Psychologist?

Expert Witness work available immediately!

Location

You will carry out assessments at your nearest clinic and be asked to assess patients, within your chosen region.

Hours

Associate expert and zero hours - Pick the hours that work for you and sign up to receive regular work based on your expertise and knowledge.

Rate of pay

£85-£100 per hour - location and experience dependent.

Experience

You don\'t need any experience in the legal medico field. We can accept those who have worked in both child and adult psychology, in any setting or capacity and you will receive supervision and training on the industry.

Expenses

Fuel expenditure over a certain mileage.

Expert Role Explained

Working weekends, evenings or a spare week day to suit you

The role includes little admin and no patient treatment, as the assessment is purely consultative in order to evaluate the patients mental health.

Completing a standard template and making recommendations of diagnosis and treatment - including CBT, EMDR, DBT person centred and so on, for those suffering with PTSD, Depression, Flashback and other mental health altering conditions.

The cases are a mixture of Medico legal/personal injury cases and Crime related family and immigration cases.

As well as assessing patients, presenting with ASD and ADHD both adult and child.

Assessments are carried out face to face, using a standard proforma and a team of expert legal secretaries will write your report, which is then proof read by you the expert. The assessment is holistic and completely evidence based.

Terms Of Business And Requirements Of The Role

• Minimum 1 year of hands on HCPC registered clinical experience.
• Registered under: Clinical psychologist only.
• Strong understanding of psychological assessment tools.
• Experience in 121 therapies, CBT EMDR or similar cognitive treatments, children or adult or both.
• Right to work in the UK - All working visas considered.
• Proof of qualifications gained - Diploma, Bachelors or Masters.
• Indemnity insurance, up to 5 million and including Medico legal.
• ICO certified or willing to apply for this.

Whilst we also do not offer Sponsorship - Should you have extra hours with your current visa, we can accept applications who are looking for additional work as long as you are under sponsorship already and have a full 12 months post HCPC registration.
