Qualifications

• GCSE grade C/4 in Mathematics and English or equivalent required.
• NVQ level 2 Certificate in Pharmacy Service Skills or similar is essential.
• Experience within a hospital pharmacy setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately dispense and check prescriptions for medication supply.
• Conduct medication reconciliation on admission from multiple sources.
• Provide medication advice to patients and ward staff.

Skills

Understanding of pharmacy related computer systems

Knowledge of Health and Safety at Work

Understanding of dispensing

Knowledge of stock control systems

Good communication skills

Strong attention to detail

Education
