A healthcare provider in the UK seeks a Band 6 Clinical Nurse Specialist or AHP specializing in respiratory care. You will deliver specialist patient-centered care and work within a multidisciplinary team, assessing patients with a variety of respiratory conditions. The role offers professional development and a supportive work environment, with hours primarily Monday to Friday, 9-5, and may expand to a 7-day service.
This job overview is for a Band 6 Clinical Nurse Specialist or Allied Health Professional (AHP) specializing in respiratory care.
The successful candidates will provide specialist respiratory intervention, as well as supporting the multidisciplinary team in assessment and development of a holistic management plan. You will be expected to perform assessment of respiratory patients with diverse presentations and complex physical and psychological conditions. You will understand the assessment and management of multiple respiratory conditions and be aware of local and national guidelines for COPD, Bronchiectasis, Interstitial Lung Disease, Asthma and Oxygen.

The role is predominantly Monday – Friday with hours 9–5, although there is a longer term plan to provide a 7 day service.
The role is available in Frimley Health; based in Farnham Community Hospital covering North-East Hampshire and Farnham and Surrey Heath.
