Job summary

A public health service in London seeks a Clinical Nurse Specialist for CAMHS Eating Disorders. This role involves delivering Family-Based Treatment and supporting young people with eating disorders. Qualifications

  • Minimum of post-registration clinical experience.
  • Experience of working in eating disorders.
  • Experience of completing a nursing assessment and formulating a safe care plan.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake processing of new referrals by being part of the duty rota.
  • Deliver FBT and FT-AN treatments to families.
  • Maintain therapeutic relationships with young people.

Skills

Experience in eating disorders
Mental health assessment skills
Therapy qualification relevant to eating disorders
Experience in managing case loads
Good working knowledge of relevant legislation

Education

Degree or Post Graduate qualification relevant to the post
RMN [Current NMC registration]

Tools

Knowledge of Family-Based Treatment (FBT)
Knowledge of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
