A leading NHS foundation trust in Cambridge is looking for a Clinical Fellow in Vascular Surgery. This role involves managing patients in various settings and offers opportunities for developing research projects. Job overview - Applications are invited for the post of Clinical Fellow (Higher ST3-5 / ST6+) in Vascular Surgery at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (CUH) to start from ASAP until 6 October 2026.
This post offers an opportunity to gain experience in a high-volume tertiary Vascular Unit. There are opportunities to be involved in the diabetic foot service, complex aneurysm programme as well as the delivery of our deep venous stent programme.
Duties of the post include the management of patients in ward, outpatient and theatre settings. We encourage the Clinical Fellows to initiate and complete a research or audit project, and this post gives an excellent opportunity for aspiring surgeons to improve their CV as well as gain valuable clinical experience. CUH offers comprehensive specialist services in all fields of Vascular Surgery and is also the regional Major Trauma Centre.
In order to be considered for the above position, applicants must have evidence of achievement of Core Surgical training.

Full Registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council at time of application is required.
The applicant must have demonstrable skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking in English that enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues, as set out in the GMC’s Good Medical Practice (2013). Non-UK applicants must possess the IELTS/OET exam before obtaining a GMC licence to practice.
