UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL – CLINICAL FELLOW HAEMATOLOGY (CT1) VACANCY
I have been assigned by an NHS University Hospital based in the East to help recruit a Clinical Fellow (CT1 level) in Haematology on a 1 year NHS Fixed Term basis with the view to go permanent thereafter.
The Haematology Department is a 2s service as set out in the London Cancer Standards. The Haematology team is supervised by four Consultant Haematologists and looks after patients with haematological malignancies and benign haematological conditions. The team also includes Clinical Nurse Specialists in Haematology who run the weekly oral chemotherapy clinic.
Our client is the designated Cancer Centre for the region. It has 2 specialist in-patient haemato‑oncology wards, a purpose built chemotherapy day unit and a haemato‑oncology day infusion unit which cater for haematology patients as well as oncology patients.
The service is well supported by an on‑site Essential Services Laboratory including blood transfusion services as well as an off‑site hub laboratory provided by the Integrated Pathology Partnership (IPP).
This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career in Haematology as the successful applicant will be well supported with experienced clinicians within the team.
GMC Registration is of course essential; however our client will support successful applicants who require a Certificate of Sponsorship.
