Our modern, purpose-built 68-bed care home in Southport delivers residential, nursing, dementia and respite care within a warm, supportive and person-centred environment. As we continue our improvement journey and prepare for our next CQC inspection, we are seeking a focused, organised and motivating Clinical Deputy Manager to support the Home Manager and strengthen our nursing team.

This role is ideal for a task‑oriented clinical leader someone who brings structure, clarity and follow‑through, and who enjoys developing others, closing knowledge gaps, and embedding best practice into everyday care.

The Role

As Clinical Deputy Manager, you will be a visible presence within the home, working closely with nurses, carers and senior staff to ensure care delivery is safe, compliant and consistently high-quality.

Your impact will be felt through:

  • Driving day‑to‑day clinical standards and governance.
  • Supporting nurses through coaching, guidance and knowledge‑sharing.
  • Identifying gaps in practice and implementing practical, sustainable solutions.
  • Promoting accountability, structure and consistency across shifts.
  • Supporting inspection readiness and ongoing improvement.

Confidently deputising for the Home Manager when required.

This is a hands‑on leadership role where organisation, communication and follow‑through are key to success.
