Job description
Overview

An exciting opportunity for a Clinical Admin Officer to join the Obstetrics & Gynaecology Clinical Admin team at Frimley Park Hospital. Applicants should have accuracy, attention to detail, and be organised, enthusiastic and dedicated with excellent interpersonal and time management skills.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the department, prioritise tasks, and manage workload to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Handle urgent requests from consultants, including medical correspondence, medico-legal reports, and ad hoc letters, in line with Trust policies.
  • Gather and organise information relevant to duties while maintaining strict confidentiality.
  • Respond to queries from colleagues, GPs, and patients in a timely, courteous, and professional manner.
  • Ensure secure storage of resources, including electronic records; scan and upload clinical documents into the Trust’s Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system.
  • Support clinicians in sending patient letters via Epic, particularly where information is incomplete or attachments are required.
  • Handle telephone communications promptly and professionally; use EPIC and other IT systems to support departmental operations.
