A leading global asset manager in London is seeking a proactive Client Relationship Manager to join its Insurance Client team. This role focuses on business development, managing client relationships, and ensuring effective communication and prompt resolution of issues. Ideal candidates will have a background in business development, experience with insurers, and regulatory competency such as CFA Level 1 or IMC. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has experience working in a business development and client-facing or relationship management role. Experience of working with insurers is beneficial.
In this client‑facing role you will be responsible for both Business Development (attracting and securing insurance clients) as well as managing the day‑to‑day relationships with Aviva clients across various asset classes ensuring prompt resolution of issues including reporting performance and fee billing queries. You’ll act as the main point of contact for client meetings, maintain accurate records and regularly update team processes and procedures. The role involves ownership of legal documentation such as IMAs oversight of the fee billing process and coordination of mandate changes. You’ll also support cross‑selling opportunities and serve as an internal resource for mandate‑specific queries.
Reporting directly to an Insurance Business Development or Client Director you’ll work closely with the Client Relationship Management team within a global Distribution network spanning the UK & Ireland, Europe, North America and Asia Pacific.
