Job description

Are you passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and thriving as part of a supportive, collaborative team?

At Dundee Vets for Pets, we care just as deeply about our people as we do about our patients. We’re delighted to be recruiting a Client Care Advisor to join our friendly and dedicated practice team.

What your day will look like:
  • Delivering exceptional service to clients while ensuring their pets receive the highest standard of care, acting as a vital link between clients and the clinical team.
  • Building strong, trusting relationships with clients, their pets, and colleagues across the practice.
  • Creating positive client experiences so every visit feels welcoming, reassuring, and worth returning for.
  • Greeting clients warmly, offering guidance and support, processing payments, and arranging future appointments with care and efficiency.
  • Helping to ensure the smooth daily running of the practice using our online booking systems—strong computer skills are essential.

This is a part-time role, working 20 hours per week (Practice open between 08:30am & 7:00pm) with 1 in 3 Saturdays. However, we would consider a full-time opportunity for the right candidate.

What we’re looking for:
  • Previous experience in a veterinary setting or customer care environment is preferred.
  • A friendly, approachable individual who enjoys being the welcoming face of the practice.
  • Someone proactive and confident, with a good understanding of practice services and a willingness to keep learning.
  • A calm, attentive communicator who always puts clients first.
  • Enthusiasm, motivation, and a genuine passion for delivering excellent service—plus a love for animals.
  • The ability to handle a variety of situations with empathy and professionalism, from supporting clients during difficult moments to celebrating a puppy’s first visit.
  • A true team player who helps create a positive, welcoming environment for both clients and colleagues.

In short, you enjoy a busy role, love helping people and their pets, and take pride in making a real difference every day.

Benefits:

In return, we offer a 20% discount at the Vet Group, Pets at Home, and the Groom Room, access to discount and cashback schemes, in-house career development opportunities, a pension scheme, and a generous holiday allowance.
