Overview
Go South Coast is seeking a dynamic Client Account / Sales Executive to grow corporate relationships, manage strategic accounts, and support public engagement at key events. You'll work across our locally branded bus companies, representing a major regional transport provider serving communities from the Isle of Wight to Swindon. This is a cross-functional role working closely with our Commercial and Marketing teams and will be central to delivering business growth through effective partnerships, service and ticket promotion.

Main responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all large customer account matters and major partners including Network Rail for rail replacement services and ticketing agreements.
- Develop new bus ticket sales with corporate clients and particularly the language school sector and private hire markets
- Increasing business opportunities through various routes to market - such as private hire
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships that support revenue growth.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and pricing packages
- Work closely with the Commercial Development Manager and have a strong understanding of Section 106 agreements with house builders and local planners.
- Track, report and analyse monthly sales targets and KPIs.
- Represent Go South Coast and its brands at trade shows, community events and public engagement.
- Someone with strong interpersonal skills and sound judgement, with proven experience in sales or client management roles
- A natural communicator with strong relationship building and negotiation
- Familiarity with bus services, route planning and a general knowledge of the transport industry would be advantageous
- Local geographical knowledge of the South of England
- A full UK driving licence and be willingness to travel across the south of England with your own car (business mileage will be paid)
- Be able to build and interpret spreadsheets and adapt to internal software
Qualifications / requirements
- Someone with strong interpersonal skills and sound judgement, with proven experience in sales or client management roles
