An educational institution in Marholm is seeking a Clerk to provide administrative support and take minutes for LGC meetings. The position requires excellent proactive skills and attention to detail. The successful candidate will attend all meetings throughout the academic year and prepare documentation accordingly. Familiarity with GovernorHub and legal procedural knowledge will be beneficial. Flexibility in working hours is required, with meetings typically held on Tuesday evenings.
The role of the Clerk is to prepare for, attend and minute LGC meetings (usually 4 per year), in addition to delivering a full administrative and advice service to the LGC in the academy. There will be an element of post-meeting action points to follow through. Meetings are ordinarily on a Tuesday evening, with the remainder of work undertaken outside of normal working hours.
The Clerk will work closely with our Chair of Governors and Headteacher and it is essential you are proactive and can work under your own direction.
This role is internally advertised and is well-suited to someone who has existing experience in an administrative role within the academy. The successful candidate will be provided with full training from the Trust.
